"Type 3" is the most representative of Ressence's willingness to take on new challenges. With the features of "visual effect" and "high visibility" by oil, it won the Horological Revelation Award at the 2013 Geneva Watch Grand Prix. Ressence's ROCS is a breakthrough system for displaying time in liquids. The liquid is oil, with a volume of 35.7ml in the sealed top chamber. This chamber houses the display unit for the time and day of the week, and the lower chamber houses the self-winding movement. The movement and display unit are not directly connected. Instead, they use magnetism to convey information. Magnets are placed in the upper and lower chambers and synchronized. In addition, seven bellows called bellows are provided inside to adjust the expansion and contraction of the oil due to temperature changes.
