PANERAILUMINOR

Luminor series that can be said to be an icon of Panerai.
The name "Luminol" comes from the luminous substance used for the indexes and hands. In 1949, Panerai created "Luminor", a tritium-based watch with less radioactivity than radium, which had been used up to that time. In order to ensure the waterproof function of the crown on the exterior, a unique case style that has been fundamentally improved has been devised. In place of the conventional screw-down crown, a completely new mechanism was installed in which a small bridge with a lever was screwed to the outside of the case, and the pressure of the lever was used to ensure water resistance. Based on the concept of unique beauty created as a result of pursuing functionality, the original design code of "Luminor" is a novel and unfading design code that can be understood at a glance.
