"Navitimer Ref.806 1959 Re-Edition" released in 2019.
It is still fresh in our minds that the 1959 world limited edition model inspired by the 1959 Navitimer was announced and became a hot topic. We have received many inquiries.
Among them, a limited edition of 59 pieces worldwide, which is considered to be even rarer, has been announced.
That is the Navitimer Ref.806 1959 Re-Edition Platinum Model .

The ultimate platinum version of the 1959 Navitimer.

The case is platinum PT950. (The material of the buckle part is K18WG.)
Both platinum and white gold look like shiny white metals, but they are completely different materials.

The material itself of platinum shines white enough to be called "Shirokane" in Japanese. Since it does not change color, it is especially popular as jewelry in Japan as a "thing that does not change" . Only 3 grams can be obtained from 1 ton of raw ore , and it is a rare material with limited areas on the earth where it can be obtained.

White gold
It is a gold that has been changed to white by mixing other metals such as white palladium with golden gold material. Since it looks a little blackish as it is, it is whitened by rhodium plating (a plating that produces a whiteness similar to that of platinum).

Dial first. Unlike the black dial of SS, it has a blue dial. The strap is unified with a deep blue alligator that matches the blue dial, and complements the whiteness of platinum.





The glass is a dome-shaped acrylic windshield, and when viewed from the side, you can see the beautiful curved details.

The movement is equipped with Breitling's hand-wound movement B09, which is based on the well-established Breitling B01 like the SS. It proves the high accuracy of COSC acquisition.


And it is the engraving on the back cover and the back of the buckle that makes you feel special.




The back cover of the watch is stamped with PT950 (the top is a hallmark, a mark of certification), a limited number, and a serial number.
The belt buckle is also stamped with Au750 (=K18).
