The Submersible was announced in 1998 as a derivative model of the Luminor, and in 2019 it became popular as the third collection after the Radiomir as a standalone collection. The motif of the design is a model called "Egiziano (Egyptian)" developed exclusively for the Egyptian Navy's diving unit in 1956. This is the first model to be delivered outside of the Italian Navy, and is known as a watch that proves Panerai's technical prowess. "Submersible", which inherited that DNA, uses unique materials such as "BMG-TECH™", "Carbotech™", and "Eco Titanium", and its tough and massive design attracts many panelists. It is truly a collection full of presence that lives up to the name of professional divers.
