The new IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire has arrived. It is a topical model equipped with an in-house chronograph movement in a case diameter of 41mm.

The best size, neither too big nor too small

The hairline finish case is not flashy, but it is practical because scratches are not noticeable. Traditionally, most IWC in-house movements have a second hand at 6 o'clock, and the IW387901 also has a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock, and a second hand at 6 o'clock. By the way, in the image above, about 8 hours, 34 minutes and 38 seconds have passed since the chronograph started.

Discerning pilot model

The back cover of the Pilot series is not a skeleton. It can't be helped because it's anti-magnetic. . . In addition, even with 6 ATM water resistance, a screw lock type back cover and crown are used. This commitment tickles the maniac heart (laughs).
