[H. Moser & Cie.] New Streamliner 6902-1200 Dial/Needle

fumée

The third will be the final version. Speaking of dials of H. Moser & Cie., "fumée". It means smoke in French, and it is famous for its gradation that gets darker from the center to the periphery.

It looks like the rotating dial is overlaid with an airbrush, but since it is not machined, the gradation is slightly different for each piece, giving it a craft-like flavor. It's the same engraving on the Lange balance cock.

The Streamliner is the first to adopt the griffe (French for scratching) specification, which has vertical lines. The fumé color has also been changed to a darker gray to match the steel case and bracelet.

Globolite®

The hour and minute hands are made of the world's first Globolight®, a ceramic compound containing a phosphorescent paint, to achieve high visibility even in dark places. The tip of the chronograph minute and second hand is curved toward the dial, making the numbers easier to read by bringing them closer to the scale. The latest materials and classic techniques are used even in small parts, further increasing the value of the Streamliner.

Such a Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic was delivered the other day. Thank you, Mr. XX! It seems that only a few have been made yet, but the remaining destinations have already been decided. It's a new product from H. Moser & Cie. Even if the Streamliner collection is enriched in the future, I feel that this model will be the flagship for the time being.
