What I thought when I wrote a blog to conclude 2019.



This year was truly an event-filled year.



Breitling Day in August, which has become familiar at Sun Messe Kagawa, and Yoshihide Muroya's air show in July, which was feared to be held this year due to bad weather last year. In September, it was reborn as a boutique , and it must have been full of exciting content for customers. It's a wonderful thing that there are so many things that have happened so far, and the smiles of the customers are overflowing, and all the events have ended successfully.




Of course, I was able to meet a lot of interesting watches as well.



I would like to introduce each model change & new product one by one, but there is a limit to summarizing at the end of the year.


In 2019, the models of the “MOP dial” that impressed me the most and many new works joined the ranks. I have introduced each of them, but I tried to summarize them, so please take a look!

By the way, "MOP dial" is an abbreviation for "mother of pearl", and as the name suggests, it is cut out from the mother of pearl oyster and used for the dial. Due to the natural material, each piece has a different expression, and Breitling is characterized by the fact that most of the models that use this MOP dial belong to "Japan only".

This model has been on the market for about 3 years. It is always ranked in the top ranking of popularity, and the point is the "thin" form that is easy to match with formal suits. Adopted elegant blue MOP.

Isn't it the model that became the most talked about in the new work in 2019? Until last year, the MOP dial Chronomat had a slightly more voluminous design, but it has been completely redesigned. Limited to only 300 in Japan.





⑤ Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Black Mother of Pearl Limited

The long-awaited first Japan-only model from the premiere announced a year ago. It is a new work that perfectly fits the concept of Premiere, which is a fusion of 1940s and current design. Since it is a black MOP, it matches the color of the sub-dial and leather belt.





⑥ Chronomat JSP Roman Index Mother of Pearl Limited

In the second half of the year, there should be many people who don't know about this that suddenly appeared. It is a model with a more special feeling that uses a MOP dial and a Roman index. The number is quite small, so if you are interested in even a little, please take a look at the store as soon as possible.





With that feeling, the models with MOP dials, from discontinued models to the latest models, are too cool. As far as I can tell, there are different types of MOPs. Please check the actual product at the store. . . smile

2019 was really full of events and new works.
