A new model will appear from the compact MTG-B1000 series, equipped with the inevitable functional beauty that fuses metal and resin, and two ways of Bluetooth® connection and standard radio wave reception.
This model expresses the accent color on each part of the dial and the back of the band. The high-quality silver case and band have a metallic red color scheme to brighten up your hands. Light and highly durable fine resin parts are combined on the back of the band to pursue vivid coloring, weight reduction, and toughness. In addition, the fine resin material has a lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel, so you can wear it comfortably even in the cold winter without feeling cold. It is a specification unique to MT-G that fuses metal and resin.
The base model MTG-B1000 has a new shock-resistant structure that connects the band and the pipe that connects the bezel and the back cover together to create a wall that forms a box-shaped frame to protect the module. Adopts a new core guard structure. Furthermore, carbon fiber reinforced resin is used for the material of the center case that protects the module. It has achieved weight reduction and further evolution of impact resistance.
In addition, by resizing the parts of the exterior structure and reconfiguring the combination, we realized the first middle size in the MT-G series. Compared to the original MTG-S1000, the case diameter has been reduced by 2.8mm on the 12:00 to 6:00 side, 1.8mm on the 3:00 to 9:00 side, and 1.1mm thick. By adopting this middle size case, the wearability is improved.
Mirror polish is applied to each edge of the metal parts that make up the exterior, and hairline processing is applied to each surface, pursuing the beauty of finishing that is the essence of a watch. In addition, the use of highly transparent sapphire glass and the delicate engraving on the indexes and in-dials made with the fine processing technology of the Casio Yamagata factory further enhances the texture.
In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a "Connected engine" that supports time adjustment via Bluetooth® connection. Links with a smartphone via Bluetooth® communication function, connects to the dedicated app "G-SHOCK Connected*", and acquires time information from a time server on the Internet. In addition, it is equipped with multiband 6 that supports standard radio waves of 6 stations around the world, and automatically adjusts the time without connecting to a smartphone in the corresponding area. Accurate time can be displayed all over the world.

g-shockについて
G-SHOCK, a wristwatch released by Casio Computer in 1983. It was born when an employee who would later be in charge of designing dropped a watch and broke it. The team named "PROJECT TEAM Tough" created the world's first shock resistant function and succeeded in developing a wristwatch that is still popular around the world. In 1981, the product set the goal of "Triple 10" (10m drop strength, 10 bar water resistance, 10 year battery life), and continues to refine its functions and innovation with shock resistance as standard equipment.
