The "MR-G" series, which is the highest grade line of G-SHOCK.
The MRG-B5000 is the MR-G model of the DW-5000C, the first generation G-SHOCK model, with carefully selected metal materials and careful finishing.
By constructing the bezel, which has a complex shape, from 25 parts, it is possible to polish each part down to the smallest detail, resulting in a higher quality finish.
In addition, we have developed a new shock-resistant multi-guard structure that increases strength by installing stainless steel leaf springs and silicone shock absorbers between the bezel parts.
The case and bezel are made of high-hardness titanium based on 64 titanium, and the band is made of titanium alloy "DAT55G"*1, which is about three times as hard as pure titanium and has excellent workability.
In addition, the bezel top is made of Cobalion*2, a cobalt-chromium alloy that boasts about four times the hardness of pure titanium and is said to have the same brilliance as platinum.

The MRG-B5000B takes advantage of the characteristics of the material that creates a beautiful mirror surface and makes extensive use of mirror finishing, and by applying a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating, the black color inherited from the DW-5000C has been added to the shine.
The MRG-B5000D uses hairline and mirror finishes, and is finished in a beautiful silver color with a titanium carbide coating.
Both models inherit the identity of the DW-5000C, the brick pattern and red circle line on the dial.
In terms of functionality, it is compatible with smartphones using the radio wave reception function and Bluetooth® communication function, and is also practical.
The module is equipped with a dedicated MR-G module with a gold-plated circuit board.
