Among the G-SHOCK MASTER OF G series, "FROGMAN" equipped with a waterproof function for ISO standard 200m diving is newly introduced with analog display for the first time in the series.
The left-right asymmetric face design, which has become an icon since the birth of the series in 1993, remains unchanged, and the home time and dual time display, as well as the diving time measurement, are all expressed in analog. In addition, by adopting a large phosphorescent hour and minute hands, the visibility is improved and the design allows intuitive judgment of measurement information.
Furthermore, this model has evolved not only in design, but also in materials, structure and function. In terms of materials and structure, a carbon monocoque case that integrates the case and back cover is used. The reinforced resin containing carbon fiber has a low water absorption rate and is resistant to hydrolysis, so it boasts high waterproof function and strength, and the carbon monocoque case has achieved the ISO standard 200m waterproof function. In addition, the exterior structure that makes use of the material characteristics has dramatically evolved toughness performance, and has achieved a weight reduction of 22g from the previous GWF-D1000 series, improving comfort. In addition, the band uses a "fluoroelastomer" that is resistant to dirt and hydrolysis, making it durable even in harsh environments.
In terms of functionality, a new module is newly installed that eliminates the need for operation on the watch side due to the Bluetooth® system. Together with the three dual coil motors that enable high-speed movement of the hour/minute hands and the dual time hands, we have achieved more stress-free operation.
Then, by downloading the dedicated application "G-SHOCK Connected" and linking it to a compatible smartphone, you can easily set the tide data of about 3000 locations around the world built into the application. In addition, you can check the diving log on your smartphone and enjoy the data measured on the watch side in more detail.

g-shockについて
G-SHOCK, a wristwatch released by Casio Computer in 1983. It was born when an employee who would later be in charge of designing dropped a watch and broke it. The team named "PROJECT TEAM Tough" created the world's first shock resistant function and succeeded in developing a wristwatch that is still popular around the world. In 1981, the product set the goal of "Triple 10" (10m drop strength, 10 bar water resistance, 10 year battery life), and continues to refine its functions and innovation with shock resistance as standard equipment.
