The Cal.9SA5 first appeared in SLGH002 , which was released to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Grand Seiko. Limited to 100 pieces in a solid gold case, it was a Grand Seiko boutique exclusive model. The price is 4,500,000 + tax, which is a bullish amount that collides with Swiss luxury brands. Still, I think it's sold out quickly.



The second is SLGH003 , which was released for the same 60th anniversary of Grand Seiko as the first. A limited edition of 1,000 with a beautiful Grand Seiko blue dial. This was also expensive at 1 million + tax, but it was sold out in no time. The price is considerably lower than SLGH002...



The third will be SLGH005 , which has been fully released. The "dark" dial of the 60th anniversary model is also good, but the wabi-sabi white birch dial expresses the aesthetic sense unique to Japan and can be used for a long time.



In fact, as the fourth, Seiko's 140th anniversary limited model SLGH007 has also been announced. The price is 6 million + tax in a platinum case! It will be a limited model of 140 pieces.

In the case of dial variations, I don't think the white birch color will simply differ, so if it's a plain dial, the price will go down. If the material is different, the price will rise whether it is titanium or SS x gold. If you think so, the price of SLGH005 may be very advantageous as a machine with Cal.9SA5.
