The 41mm size is 1mm larger in diameter than the series' classic Pilot's Watch Mark XVII. The movement is equipped with the IWC-manufactured caliber "32111", which boasts a long power reserve of 120 hours. Like all Pilot models, this high-performance caliber is encased in a soft-iron inner case that is resistant to magnetic fields. On top of that, a ceramic outer case with high hardness and scratch resistance is adopted, making it a model with high practicality in all aspects.

Since 2006, IWC Schaffhausen has presented special limited editions in support of the Laureus Sport for Good. The special model features a blue dial and a special engraving on the case back. Each year, IWC organizes a painting competition for children and adolescents on a theme proposed in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The back of the watch is also engraved with the work of 12-year-old Melissa Mejia Castilla from Colombia, who won a children's drawing contest.

It is fitted with a blue rubber strap with fabric inlay. Pilot watches tend to have a strong military taste, but with this coloring and texture, you can enjoy a wide range of fashionable outfits on a daily basis.

IWC is particular about blue, and in addition to “Laureus Sport for Good”, blue is used in many special collections such as “Petit Prince” and “Jacques-Yves Cousteau”. I've been IWC's blue, which is good at using such blue, is still a bit different.
