This year, the design code "Series 9" was introduced as a new Grand Seiko style.

I believe that the new style that fuses the traditional large, angular and robust design with the traditional thin dress style is a major factor in accelerating the popularity of Grand Seiko.



In 2017, Grand Seiko took a new turn as an independent brand from Seiko, but from thin dress watches to voluminous sports models, and the hybrid Series 9, they are competing against the powerhouses of luxury brands in fierce battles. The dial of this SLGA008 is manufactured with the image of tree rings. In order to bring out the three-dimensional space, the unevenness of the pattern is higher than that of ordinary stamping, and hundreds of fine lines are processed in the grain of the wood.
