Introducing the newly reborn “NEW Tank Française”




Designed in 1996, the Tank Française has been one of the most popular Cartier watches and continues to lead the way. In January 2023, except for some models, we have been migrated to new models.



We will look at the details of the new tank française, which has passed 13,000 hours of development time, 460 hours of digital simulation, 340 hours of resistance check testing and analysis.

①Slightly increased case width


The left and right bezel widths have increased volume, and the vertical and horizontal diagonal ratio has also changed. The larger area makes it easier to see the beauty of the satin finish. The base of the bracelet has also been redesigned to draw a curve. It has been finished more than 7 times, and the time spent on it conveys the passion for this new design. Another good point is that the crown at the 3 o'clock position has become smaller, probably because of the increased case width.







②The vertical width of the bracelet is narrower

③ Dial from sand color to metal color (*depending on size and material)
